We never tire of the energy and enthusiasm our Middle School students bring to this tournament every year. With the continued hospitality of Columbia University’s Varsity Tennis Coach Howie Edelman and Varsity Team Champs, Richard Pham, Burt Vancour and Shawn Hadavi with the steady and experienced guidance of NY Junior Tennis and Learning NYJTL , and watchful eyes of MS 302 and MS 126 Coaches, this year’s third annual tennis tournament generated great enthusiasm, all around.
Following the tournament, was a sumptuous BBQ on the lawn, provided courtesy of LeSouk Restaurant. The Baker’s Field facilities at the Dick Savitt Tennis Center are set in a bucolic spot in Manhattan overlooking the Hudson and Sputen Dyvil.
